I opened a store in Tequesta, Florida which is part vintage and part high end curent clothing consignments from the last 1-3 seasons.
Right now is our off season in Florida and I need help getting my website known nationwide. We are starting an online store which is in the beginning stages.

| | Vintage toys! My gawd... they bring back so much memories!!! | | A friend of mine recently got into the business of selling toys. Well... actually, a friend of a friend. But a friend is a friend rite?
[em]lol[/em]Anyways, he was into the business of toys. And not just any toys, But vintage toys as well! Boy! going thru his site reminds me of the toys I used to play when I was a kid.

| Does anybody go to Vintage or Thrift Stores to shop for clothing? | | I did a post in the Frugal section of Mylot and other mylotters told me about there experiences finding great deals at Vintage and thrift stores and in turn i told them im addicted to finding new articles of clothing and the hottest name brands like BEBE, Hollister,Old Navy,Gap if you look hard enough you can find basically anything and save oodles of money. | Sites to research vintage clothing, styles, types, eras | | I have my regular sites that I visit to research the vintage clothing that I get in. The main thing is to try to identify the era itself, for me. After that I can put in the general description of the article being described.Here's a problem that I'm beginning to encounter (well, I'm either beginning to have this problem or it's been there and I've only recently understood that it's a problem). Identifying the fabrics made (from whatever period of time) to create an item of clothing. What sites can you visit that are based more on textile/fabric than style of clothing. I'd like to not only know more of the history of the actual piece of clothing, but of the fabrics used to create it as well.Thanks in advance. | |
