Liberal Democrate Martha Coakley in a free fall (R) Scott Brown up 9 points
The good people of Massachusetts will cast their vote tomorrow for either democrat Martha Coakley or republican Scott Brown. Sunday polling shows Scott Brown with a 9 point lead over Martha Coakley. At today's rally lead by Scott Brown lines of automobiles lined the streets with their horns blaring and hands waving out of car windows. This is one of closes races being watched very closely by Washington D.C.and in general the American people. To late the hope and change the people voted for has become a feeling of hopeless and a hell of a lot more of the same thing coming out of Washington D.C.the fat rich cat's living high on the hog at the American tax payers expense~~~ have a comment please post it here.(Republican all American Scott Brown up 9 points over Coakley)A new InsiderAdvantage poll conducted exclusively for POLITICO shows Republican Scott Brown surging to a 9-point advantage over Martha Coakley a day before Massachusetts voters trek to the ballot box to choose a new senator.According to the survey conducted Sunday evening, Brown leads the Democratic attorney general 52 percent to 43 percent.Read more:...
Martha Stewart love her? hate her?
Do you like Martha Stewart? Hate her? Like her magazine or her show?I like her quite a bit. Though sometimes she goes into topics or varieties of things where I cannot use the item, the cost is too much, or just plain would have no idea where to get an ingredient. But that's ok one can always imprivise and make up your own w/ her ideas as a base.I just wish Seaseme Street wasn't on the same time that Martha Stewart is*sigh* & no I don't have a DVR.
Racheal Ray Vrs Martha Stewart!
Ok, Have any of you seen the interview were Martha basicly tells us that Racheal is unworthy of her. Personally I use Racheal's stuff! I love her! She is really in touch with the average gal! Regarding Martha she is a loon and a half (and Im being nice)! Her product lines are OUTRAGESLY expensive, her books are very complex (and expensive to make). There is few things you could make on a day to day basis.
Martha Stewart
Do you watch Martha Stewart on TV? I like her show, particularly around this time of year because she makes so many cute holiday crafts. I havent been able to get the show though for the past couple of years since my direct TV box got changed I cant get washington channels any more. I think her show is on Finelving but I havent gotten around to looking for it yet.
Rachel Ray vs. Martha Stewart...a battle for the ages?
"I'm the mother of these how-to shows. She cannot cook like I cook. She cannot craft like I craft." These are the words of Martha Stewart in reference to Rachel Ray. It's truly a very debateable topic. Rachel Ray has the overly eccentric niceness and incredibly good looks (although her thighs are enormous), and Martha Stewart is an established veteran of cooking and crafting. Rachel Ray is the young underdog and Martha Stewart is the seasoned veteran, and she one ups Rachel Ray with her ability to craft. So the question is, which one would you prefer cooking your meals and which do you think is more watchable?
insight is cheap- Martha Roth
For years we kept ourselves in a split condition: With one part of our minds we looked at ourselves and said, "I do some self-destructive things because I don't believe I deserve love." When we became involved with unsuitable people or abused our bodies, we said, "I am punishing myself-I am expecting too much- I neglect my own needs." We may see clearly how an why we get in our own way. But unless we have faith in a power greater than ourselves, we won't step aside. We won't let go. We'll do the same things and "understand" ourselves in the same ways. We may even use our "insight" to keep ourselves stuck-to protect ourselves from the risk of change. Now, having had a spiritual awakening, having come to believe that a higher power can restore us, we possess a gift more powerful than the keenest insight-faith in our ability to grow and change. We are children of God. All the creative power of the universe streams through us, if we don't block it. "Today I will have faith, and all will be well."
Speculations: Chelsea Clinton 'to marry at Martha's Vineyard' this week end
Speculation is rife in the US that Miss Clinton, 29, and her investment banker fiancee Marc Mezvinsky, 31, are to marry at a service on the exclusive east coast island that will coincide with the arrival of US President Barack Obama and his family for their summer vacation. The daughter of the US secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, and the former US president, Bill Clinton, is said to be planning the wedding on the estate owned by the actors Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, near where the Obamas are staying. Oprah Winfrey as well as other former US presidents are also rumored to be among the wedding guests.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/barackobama/6070555/Chelsea-Clinton-to-marry-at-Marthas-Vineyard.htmler of the universe streams through us, if we don't block it. "Today I will have faith, and all will be well."
Where are all the Democrats who complained when Bush went to Martha's Vineyard?
I'm going to start this discussion by saying that I don't have a problem with the Obama family taking the last leg of their vacation at Martha's Vineyard. The job of president can be done from anywhere, not just the Oval Office. When the president "vacations" he doesn't take whole days or weeks off. Part of every "vacation" day is interruped by the business of being the president. That was true when Bush was president too. The difference is, when the Bush family went to Martha's Vineyard the Democrats and the incompetent press raised a huge stink. They said that it was "elitist" and "out of touch" Bush was for going to places like Martha's Vineyard in "these bad economic times". It got so bad that Prs. Bush's advisors told him to quit taking such vacations. After that, his vacations were pretty much limited to Camp David and his ranch. So, my question is, where are all the people who complained about Bush? Obama isn't doing anything different than Bush did for vacation, but the feigned outrage is conspicuously missing.
Martha Stewart
I was reading an article about how Martha Stewart became a billionare while she was in jail. That is crazy I am surprised the law didn't take any money from her. I mean to sit in jail and do nothing and make billions of dollars is crazy. I wish I was that lucky to make vast amour of money for doing nothing. It's very intresting go read about. I have to admit she is a smart women. I am guessing she new exactly what she was doing to keep her earnings going while still in prision. I find it sickning to know how much money she made while is prision.
