| | Watching creepy videos..... | | Some of my colleagues like the 'rotten' and 'creepy' stuff like live accident videos, death videos and yesterday I saw a video on Internet about a mad man in India, climbing on top of a train and touching a 25,000 Volts live wire and burned alive. After seeing that video for about a dozen times in order to analyze this rare phenomenon, I was very very disturbed seeing a human being, just roasted alive. I was also very angry about the aloofness of the concerned authorities. I dont know somehow I will be deeply disturbed for about couple of days and I have to struggle very hard to come out of it. | |
| | Unity and love of animals. Do you think human beings lacks this quality???? | | It is fun to watch the movements and actions of the animals and birds. Today, I and some of my friends was just sitting in a Bangalore outskirts. We were watching, how the monkeys are playing in the nearby banian trees. There were around 150 monkeys - new born to aged - on those two big banian trees. They were jumbing from one branch to another, playing truppies, giving training to the kids and making love . It was fun.Suddenly we have seen a big sparking with noise and we have seen one of the kids in the group fell down. In its gravitation, it fell down on the electric live wire. This caused that spark and noise. Later it fell on the ground. All of a sudden most of the other monkeys round about 150 rounded the kid. One of them gone near the kid and kissed it. Later it patted on the shoulder of the kid. Then one by one came and kissed and later they taken the small monkey to the top of the world. What I observed or understood from this incident is the unity and love of animals when one of them is in danger. Again, I was thinking whether this unity will be there among the human beings, when one of us in danger. | |

| | At last we got the cable back | | For about 2 years now I have had to use my laptop with an air card to get on-line.
There was a fire in the building of the apartments where I live. Every time I would call Brighthouse they would give me some kind of excuse about the apartment complex not fixing the wiring. Well they sent a man out here on Friday and he went into the attic of these apartments and found a live wire and he got my tvs and my computers all hooked up. I was so happy...now I don't have to depend on an air card that did not work all the time. I got my Roadrunner back and let me tell you it is so much faster. Don't you just hate it when your connection is slow?
| | Do you have a perfect song? | | I'm not talking about favourite songs here as I have hundreds of favourites but there is only one song I think is perfect in every way. That song is 1979 by the Smashing Pumpkins, I love everything about it the lyrics, music, video, even Billy Corgan's voice. Here is the the lyrics if you've never heard of it and a link to the video.http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wrivjzw0RlIShakedown 1979, cool kids never have the time
On a live wire right up off the street
You and I should meet
June bug skipping like a stone
With the headlights pointed at the dawn
We were sure we'd never see an end to it all And I don't even care to shake these zipper blues
And we don't know just where our bones will rest
To dust I guess
Forgotten and absorbed into the earth below Double cross the vacant and the bored
They're not sure just what we have in the store
Morphine city slippin' dues, down to see that We don't even care, as restless as we are
We feel the pull in the land of a thousand guilts
And poured cement, lamented and assured
To the lights and towns below
Faster than the speed of sound
Faster than we thought we'd go, beneath the sound of hope...
