I think Battle Studies definitely has it's honorable mentions though such as "All We Ever Do Is Say Goodbye", "Edge of Desire", and "Assassin". I think I get the "tone" of the album. I think it's a lot of discovering the ups and downs of being in a relationship that I think most people go through at some point in their lives. I can appreciate the effort... | |

| JOHN MAYER'S tearful Public Apology on racist comments during magazine interview | | Hi my fellow mylotters, have you heard of the tearful public apology made by John Mayer on Nashville?. THis wis with redards to his nasty usage of racial sensitive words on a Magazine Interview. They said that a misguided interview led him to use the 'N' word and since John Mayer is known to speak his true ideas and feelings freely he was coined as a bad person because of this. He has a history of saying unlikeable comments regarding his ex gf jessica simpson. In my opinion, his public apology is big enough for him to learn a few lessons in his part. I know he is an artist...and musically inclined they are known to have the ability to freely express how they feel. Artist are sentimental, free-spirited, and quite sensitive. He may be a very good and talented musical artist but I might say that he is a terrible celebrity. He is yet to learn how to deal with showbizness life and I think he alread learned his lesson clear here. | | What is your favorite John Mayer song | | As a huge fan of John Mayer since he first appeared on the music scene I would like to hear what others favorite John Mayer songs are or albums? I love all of his albums because their all different in their own way and his lyrics/songs are amazing. I would have to say my favorite song is "Love Song For No One" off his debut album Room For Squares, I can relate to the song and lyrics and still can to the day I fell in love with it. I also am a huge fan of the songs "Home Life" and "Why Georgia" I believe John is so talented, I love the fact he plays the guitar as well, I would love to see him live one day but I can't afford tickets: ( their so pricey sometimes, if I won some I'd take my best friend since she loves John as well. I'm hoping to get able to buy his new album this week that came out recently, it seems worth the money and so good, I don't usually buy cds but their are those few artists who I will spend my money on. | |
