| Which bands/groups would you revive? (bring back) | | There's been alot of talking recently about past bands/groups getting back together and i was wondering what bands you would like revive? There's quite a few i'd bring back.
Most aren't major but i'd be interested in seeing the betles come back for one last album. (i know it wouldn't be the same without sir lennon) but i missed this and personally would enjoy it.Who would like to see back?

| | Did you ever pretend to like a group just to fit in with your peers? If so who? | | Some people like a group or singer when they are younger, simply because everyone else likes them.
When I was a young girl, the trend was to like The Osmonds or David Cassidy. I liked both a little bit because the music was good but I wasn't a screaming wreck or anything If I saw them on the TV.
Later on it was The Bay City Rollers whom all the girls swooned over.
Secretly I liked The Smiths and Simon and Garfunkel but that wasn't something to be admitted out loud in a room full of girls.
What was the trend when you were a teenager or what is it where you live now and who is your secret (really best) musician.

| Lyrics With Days Of The Week? | | Can you think of any songs with the name of a day in it? Let's see . . . "Saturday," by Chicago, or "S A T U R DAY!" by the Bay City Rollers (Oh Come, Thorgrym said we were all closet BCR fans,[em]whistle[/em]). Sunday?--nothing comes to mind, unless "My Girl" actually says, "groovin' on a Sunday afternoon." Right? I'm not sure. But I do know that The Mamas and Pappas (what a name) had "Monday, Monday." Rolling Stones got all mellow with "Ruby Tuesday." I'm lost for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Can you all fill in the blanks for me? | |
| | Tiger Beat - A Rite of Passage for Most Young Girls | | Hey do you remember reading Tiger Beat when you were a young teen/'tween'?I heard on the radio that the announcer was talking about it and her 12 year old daughter reading it - the Jonas brothers, the boys from Zack and Cody are cool right now.She mentioned that when she was 12 (in 1977) and reading Tiger Beat, Shawn Cassidy and Parker Stevenson were gracing the pages...as for me; it was Elton John and the Bay City Rollers (does anyone remember them???) and it was around 1975 (ish) lol!Do you remember reading this publication? who was hot when you were reading it??? | |

| Worst song from the 70's? | | Okay, if you were a child in the 70's like me then surely you remember some of the really bad, hideously awful songs from back then? One hit wonders like "Run Joey Run", "Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks, "Don't Give Up on Us" by David Soul, stuff by the Bay City Rollers.... So what do you think is the absolute worst song from the 1970's? | |
| | Bay City, Mich. Wants 2nd Chance From Madonna | | A city that more than two decades ago declined to honor Madonna with a key to the city wants the singer to give it a second chance.Madonna was considered for the honor in 1985, but some thought she was too risque, the newspaper said. It also said the city in the late 1980s refused to accept a sculpture of Madonna from an Italian artist, citing a belief that her popularity would fade in time. Guess induction into Rock Hall of fame changed their minds. Personally I hope she passes. | |
